QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF ABOUT YOUR GROWTH (THAT ACTUALLY MATTER)

Last week we talked about getting real with where your wellness actually stands. If that stirred up some "oh crap" moments, you're not alone. This week, let's dig a little deeper with some reflection questions that go beyond the surface-level stuff.
I'm not talking about those fluffy journal prompts you see everywhere. These are the questions I ask myself (and my clients) when we need to cut through the noise and figure out what's really going on.
The Growth Questions Nobody Wants to Answer (But Should)
1. What pattern keeps showing up that you're tired of dealing with?
Maybe it's saying yes when you mean no, or that voice in your head that tells you you're not doing enough. The patterns we're most tired of are usually the ones we need to address first.
2. Where are you waiting for permission that's never coming?
Permission to rest. Permission to change careers. Permission to set boundaries. Here's the thing: you're the only one who can give yourself that permission.
3. What would you do if you knew nobody was keeping score?
This one hits different. We spend so much energy worrying about what others think about our choices, our pace, our progress. But what if none of that mattered?
4. What's one thing you've been avoiding that might actually help?
Sometimes the thing we're most resistant to is exactly what we need. That conversation. That boundary. That rest day. That ask for help.

My Own Reality Check
I'll go first: I keep falling into the pattern of overcommitting because I want to help everyone. I'm waiting for permission to slow down that's never coming from anyone but me. And I've been avoiding asking for help with the business side of things because I think I should have it all figured out by now.
See? Messy. Real. And definitely not Instagram-worthy.
THE POINT OF THESE QUESTIONS
This isn't about having perfect answers or creating a five-year plan. It's about getting honest with yourself so you can make one small shift that actually matters.
Real growth isn't about massive transformations or dramatic life overhauls. It's about honest awareness followed by small, consistent actions that align with who you really are.
These questions aren't meant to make you feel bad about where you are. They're meant to help you see where you are clearly so you can decide where you want to go next.
THIS WEEK'S PRACTICE
Pick one question that made you uncomfortable and sit with it for a few minutes each day. Don't try to solve it – just notice what comes up. Sometimes awareness is the first step toward change.
Write down whatever surfaces. Don't edit it or make it pretty. Just let it be honest.
Notice if you want to immediately jump to solutions or if you can just be with the awareness for now.
WHAT COMES NEXT
Your growth doesn't have to look like anyone else's timeline. It just has to be honest about where you are right now.
Maybe you realize you're ready to set a boundary you've been avoiding. Maybe you give yourself permission to rest without guilt. Maybe you finally have that conversation you've been putting off.
Or maybe you just sit with the awareness for now. That's growth too.
The goal isn't to have all the answers. The goal is to get real about the questions that matter.
WHEN YOU'RE READY FOR SUPPORT
Sometimes these questions stir up stuff we can't process alone. That's normal and it's okay to ask for help.
If you're finding patterns you can't break on your own, emotions that feel too big to handle, or you're ready to dive deeper into the work these questions are pointing toward, you don't have to do it alone.
I offer EFT tapping sessions specifically designed to help you work through emotional blocks and patterns that keep showing up. Sometimes we need support to move through what awareness brings up.
I also work with people who are ready to go deeper with their growth through my "Raw & Real: Embrace Your Whole Self" coaching program - for rebels who are done with surface-level change and ready for authentic transformation.
Your growth matters. Your healing matters. And you don't have to figure it all out alone.
